Rapid Review of Patient Pre-admission Information

Medical Passport can populate the H&P form and present it for physician review and signoff. Electronic signatures can be used on the form, and completion of this critical item is automatically logged into the system.

For example, the guideline for ordering a blood sugar test might be any patient who is diabetic. The guidelines for ordering an EKG could be highly complex: for example, all patients over 65 having major surgery, and all males over 50 who smoke and are hypertensive or diabetic.
